Dear OMCTFOA Members:

Welcome members, sponsors, and guests to the 58th Annual Conference of the Oklahoma Municipal Clerks, Treasurers and Finance Officials!

The conference is scheduled Wednesday through Friday, Oct. 22-24, 2014, with a pre-conference on Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 21, 2014, at the Wes Watkins Conference Center on the Oklahoma State University campus in Stillwater. Institute and Academy Session are available for those working towards their various certifications.

This year’s conference theme is “Making Cents of Changing Times”. Your OMCTFOA Board has worked hard all year in selecting workshop sessions from your suggested topics and obtaining knowledgeable speakers to help all of us in “Making Cents of Changing Times”.

Institute and Academy sessions will be available at the pre-conference.

Wednesday – We will begin the morning with the opening ceremony and general session in the auditorium. Per your request, that afternoon we will move to the concurrent sessions in the various meeting rooms.
a photo of a paintingWednesday Evening – This year we are offering an Artistik Palette a social painting event hosted by – enjoy an evening of painting and having refreshments with your clerks and treasurers. Pre-registration and payment are required.
Thursday – We will continue with concurrent sessions in the morning, followed by institute and academy sessions in the afternoon.
Thursday Evening – With changing times comes the change of seasons. OMCTFOA, in partnership with the Oklahoma Municipal Assurance Group and support of our sponsors, has planned a Fall Festival Fun Night! So “change” into your costumes and come ready to dance and sing with a local DJ, take a picture or two with props in the photo booth, play games, and just have fun!!! Prizes will be award to the “best” costume, and door prizes will be given throughout the evening. You must be present to win!
Friday – We will hold our final concurrent sessions in the morning, followed by lunch and the annual business meeting. And yes, more door prizes!!

It has been an honor and privilege serving as your 2014 OMCTFOA President, as well as holding various positions on board throughout the last few years. I encourage each of you to consider serving. There are numerous opportunities available.
